How Much Is Too Much Furniture In Living Room. I know a room looks better without a zillion side tables, but I usually have tea, knitting, books and/or magazines, and I want a place for them, along with the table lamps I prefer, because I dislike overhead lights or floor lamps in a living room. Putting too much furniture on one side of the room makes everything feel tilted and off-balance.
The bird pillow on the side chair is more modern and too lightweight of a fabric and design for this room.
