Arranging Your Bedroom Furniture
Arranging Your Bedroom Furniture. This lets you experiment with it. Whether you have a single bed or a double bed, there are ways you can make the most of the space available to you.
People should not be tripping over furniture, or each other, to pass through the room. Usually, the dresser comes next, followed by bedside tables, a desk, shelves, chairs and anything else you may have. The best way to balance out your bedroom is by placing a substantial piece of furniture opposite the bed.
When approaching this task, start with your bed as it's the biggest piece of furniture.
While we tend to obsessively arrange (and re-arrange, and re-re-arrange) the rest of our house, bedrooms often get left out, maybe because they're more private, and less likely to be viewed by judgy houseguests, or maybe because the primary activity that takes place in them is (you guessed it) sleep.
Place a pair of benches at the end of the bed for seating. How you arrange furniture can also be heavily influenced by the architectural style of your home. Once you've figured out where you want to place your bed, keep arranging the rest of your furniture from the largest items down to the smallest items.
