Pressure Treated Wood For Outdoor Furniture. I was under the impression that pressure treated wood, wouldn't accept stain/Thompson sealer. (thought that was the point of pressure treated Also Thank You's to everyone that posted about the PT wood for furniture. Freshly treated lumber may still be wet or even swollen from the treatment process or from exposure to excess moisture in transit or outdoor storage.
